Share a survey

A public link, a QR code, an embed, or personal links for an invited-only audience.

Publish the survey, then open its Share tab for every way to reach people.

  • Link: a public URL that works for anyone while the survey is live. Send it by email, chat or social media.
  • QR code: for posters, slides and printed handouts. Scans are counted as a separate source from the link.
  • Embed: a ready-made iframe for your own website or intranet page.
  • Personal links: add participants and wrkflow emails each person their own single-use link. See Personal links and reminders.

Invited participants only

In the survey's Settings tab, under Responses, switch Who can respond to Only invited participants. The public link, QR code and embed then show an invitation-only message, and only personal links from the Participants tab work, one response each.

A scheduled survey's link already works before it opens; respondents just see that it hasn't started. Paused and closed surveys show a notice in place of the questions.
