Share results with managers
Send each department head a link to their own team's results, and only theirs, with no account needed.
In HR surveys such as engagement, pulse and exit surveys, each manager usually wants their own team's results. Share with managers sends every manager a private link to their group's results. They don't need an account, they can't see other groups, and nothing on the page or in the link lets them widen what it shows. Available on the Enterprise plan, for editors.
Share
- Open the survey's Results tab and find Managers.
- Choose Share with managers, then the attribute that groups people, such as Department.
- Check the recipient for each group. If your contacts have a Manager email attribute, each group's recipient is suggested from it: the address most people in that group share. You can type any address instead, or choose Paste rows and paste lines of value, email (for example Sales,head.sales@example.com).
- Choose when the links expire and whether to show the organization's figure next to each question.
- Review the preview: for each group you see how many of those invited responded and whether the manager will see results. Then choose Share.
Each manager gets an email with the survey's name, their group and the link. The email never contains results.
What managers see
- Their group's results for every question, read-only, updated as people respond. No exports, no individual responses.
- With the organization figure on, a table of each rating and agreement question with the share of favourable answers (the top two) for their group and for the whole organization, such as "Your group 72% · Organization 65%".
- Groups of fewer than 5 people are never shown, in every survey. Until a group reaches 5 responses its manager sees "Not enough responses yet", and in anonymous surveys not even how many have responded.
- A group can also stay hidden when showing it would let someone work out how a smaller group answered, for example by comparing the organization figure with every other group. The organization figure is left out in the same cases.
After sharing
- The Managers list shows each link's views, when it was last opened and when it was emailed.
- Resend emails a fresh link. The link in the earlier email stops working, so use it when someone lost the email or it went to the wrong place.
- Revoke stops one link right away; Revoke all stops every manager link for the survey. Other shared reports stay.
- Share again after more responses arrive: managers who already have a link keep it and get no new email. Changing a group's recipient replaces its link.
